AJEC Racing Summer Performance Car Action Day 2010

Saturday 4th September sees the return of the AJEC Racing Summer Performance Car Action Day. With support from AJEC Racing, one of the west country’s leading suppliers of tuning parts and responsible for the preparation and tuning of the Castle Combe Saloon Car Championship lap record holding car, AJEC will bring their own blend of displays and fun to what, in 2009 proved to be the most rapidly expanding day of the year.
With promised display of exciting super cars, a drifting display, the AJEC Parade which featured cars worth literally millions of pounds there is much to look at as well as enjoy the track time.

VBOA National Rally 2010
Location: Billing Aquadrome, Northampton
Date: 10/07/10 to 11/07/10
The annual VBOA National Rally will take place on Saturday July 10th and Sunday July 11th 2010. Members of the 31 UK owner’s clubs affiliated to the VBOA will be displaying over 2000 Vauxhalls, Bedfords and Opels. Sunday morning will see arena displays by participating clubs and in the afternoon the crowning of the Best Car in Show while a massive autojumble will be open all weekend to supply parts, accessories and memorabilia. Special camping rates are available to members of VBOA affiliated clubs.

Performance, Tuning & Modified Show 2010

The PTM Show at Santa Pod Raceway is a serious performance car event where track performance speaks louder than bench-racing bravado. There’s no room at this show for bling-bling wheels or bodykits unless they knock fractions of a second off your time on the strip!
But there’s no respect for badge-snobs either. You can turn up in a stripped out Saxo or fire-breathing Supra and you’ll be equally welcome. The HKS Drag Series, Euro Sports Compact Drag Series and The King of Street Competition will bring competitive Drag Racing to a show that is certain to be an awesome day for any spectator.

The Fast Show 2010
Location: Santa Pod Raceway, Wellingborough

The Fast Show at Santa Pod Raceway is the first red-letter day on the modified car calendar, everyone is welcome, including clubs, individuals, supercars, modified cars, hot-hatches and retros. Whether your car is about “show” or “go”, there’s something for you at The Fast Show. Ferrari or Fiat, a Vee Dub or a Volvo, a Subaru or a Scimitar, you can be sure you’ll be in great company.
At the Fast Show, expect to see the best modified cars on the club stands, Run What Ya Brung and drag cars on track, including the awesome Fireforce Jet Car, drifting and stunt displays in the Live Action Arena, plus traders, caterers, fun fair rides and more.
Saturday is a Run What Ya Brung day, with plenty of track time running into the dusk. Weekend ticket holders are welcome to stay on site and enjoy the Pod Palais and nightlife, while Sunday 21st is the main show day, with all other aspects of the show taking place.

Autotuner 2009
Location: Brands Hatch Circuit, Fawkham, Kent
Autotuner is a high-end aftermarket event created for performance/modified car enthusiasts. A place for companies, clubs and motorsport enthusiasts to come together for an exciting day out.
Autotuner features official rounds of Time Attack, the new race series taking the tuning industry by storm and a European Drift Championship display. There will be a massive club car display area including several top notch cars that are joining us from some of the best known tuning companies in Europe as well as a huge tuning exhibition area with experts at hand to help you learn more about getting the most out of your vehicle before you take it for a spin around the infamous circuit!
Brands Hatch was the obvious choice for an event of this type. There are currently no other events in this market within the Southeast that will combine all of the components of Autotuner. International Styling & Tuning Show 2009
Location: Donnington Park, Castle Donnington
The International Styling And Tuning Show (ISTS), previously known as “Donny”, is the largest event of its kind in the UK attracting more than 50,000 visitors over two days.
Now in its 4th year at Donington Park, the famous circuit at Castle Donington near Derby has become much more than a car show, it is now a ‘festival’ for the modified market. Expect to see more than 1800 club cars from 80+ clubs from throughout the UK and into Europe, with over 6,000 of those people camping over the weekend.
The show features public track time, a Gumball 3000 track session, exclusive all day Drifting action and the super car loop with super cars available to drive throughout the day.
You will also find an ICE village, large exhibition area, vehicle concours, and exclusive evening entertainment provided by Cream for weekend visitors.
